| The search for Truth is the ultimate quest for
humankind. We have recently emerged into a new era and are at the threshold of achieving a
global perspective, of making a paradigm shift to a new level of global consciousness.
Will we make it or will we fall back only to emerge later to try again? Most importantly,
what do we need to learn about how our culture is failing and how it has shined? Paradigm Shift is a novel which explores this shift to a new global society from the perspective of the future looking back on a world destroyed by economic greed and disrespect for the Earth. As a new society emerges will it be different or will it go down the same path as before? Set in the year 2460 we enter the small, thriving community of Cascadia. Although it looks utopian on the outside there is something terribly wrong on the inside. As the memory of the dark past fades into childhood fables we once again lose our close connection to the Earth. |
